Resistance is a new release by Canadian recording artist Jim Gelcer and USA based/German born cellist and producer Hans Christian. This track is a sinewy blend of neo-classical, trance ambient, and chill factors, sprinkled with Gelcer’s vocalizations and hand pan improvisations, as well as Christian’s haunting string work. 

In case people are wondering about the title "Resistance"- why not something more pretty, harmonious, or peaceful? Both Gelcer and Christian are deeply moved by the struggle of the Ukrainian and Russian people. It is a time of challenges (and not just in those two countries). This piece appeals to the quiet strength that gives us the courage to stand straight, speak our truth, and be spiritual warriors of Love.
